We are specialized and focused in the wood stock manufacturing of the gun sector.

We are specialized and focused in the wood stock manufacturing of the gun sector. Pedersoli 2 Srl Wood Department for more than 20 years esperience in the creation of guns stocks, developped a manufacturing process which is among the highest quality standards, offering technological and production services.

Paying attention to the product analysis and supported by the 3D scan of the solid piece, starting from the wood board, we manufacture the physical product, which can be supplied only machined or it can be polished, stained and finished, going throgh all the final steps of the stock production.

3D scan

Basing on the photogrammetry principles, following the scan work, the system returns a cloud of dots, which is then elaborated with reverse engineering technology, to form a solid view of the item.

Solid item elaboration

The obtained file from the scan work, may need to be elaborated to introduce modifications, which are visible in real time.

Hand roughing

This work is made by a skilled worker and it is based on the careful analysis of the wooden board. In this phase the purpose is to make a choice of the material both from the aesthetic and the structural wood resistance

Lathe coupling

It enables the simultaneous production of more stocks at the time, starting from a sample copy, previously hand worked by our ebanist masters.

CNC machine works

Large dimension machines with consolidated precision, able to have excursion of 1300mm by 3000mm.

Polishing Work

Special surface polishing made by hand and the use of polishing devices. Any roughness of the surfaces is removed, to leave a smooth and uniform touch.

Checkering work

The checkering work is either made by hand, or with the use of the laser machine. The work is to have on the wooden surface, a series of generically rhomboid-shaped carvings, improving the grip of the gun, aesthetically enriching the stock.

Oil Finishing

An item made of wood features unique aesthetic characteristics thanks to the nature Therefore enriching the result with the hand oil finish, gives back the emphasis of the original wood colors and exaltation of the wood veins.

Metal components manufacturing

Thanks to the close relation with Davide Pedersoli & C., it is possible to evaluate the production of the metal parts to complete the stock.
